Description
Digital color image of Hoboken Terminal wood clapboard walls on the passenger loading deck of former ferry area, Hoboken, no date, [2004]. Original print 8" x 10". Photograph taken by Michael Rosenthal of New Jersey Transit. Job or project no. 973-491-7095. (No image number.)
The area is an exterior deck on the eastern side of the second floor, former ferry waiting room (which is through the sliding doors seen at the left) where passengers gathered to load on the upper level of the ferries. The view is looking north. Out-of-view at the right (east) is a ferry slip. All of the surfaces seen here are to be removed during the restoration of the terminal and its return to a passenger ferry area and other uses.
