Scope and Content
Digital image, holographic document: Letter from Mayor Lawrence Fagan to City Council re waterfront property at Hudson Square, 4th Street, June 14, 1889.
Document written on City Clerk letterhead, not Mayoral letterhead. The enclosed communication from J.D. Bedle (he is presumably Joseph Dorsett Bedle, the former Governor of the New Jersey; if it was his son, it would have likely stated, "Jr." after the name since the Governor, Sr., was still alive) referred to in the letter is not present.
Original document from the files of City Clerk, City of Hoboken.
