Description
Digital image of postcard of two Erie-Lackawanna tugboats docked at the Hoboken Terminal, Hoboken, Feb. 1974. Courtesy of Leon Yost.
The diesel powered tugs were the "Akron" and "Marion" and were part of the New York harbor service for carfloats and lighters. As the text on the back states, this was near the end of the Erie-Lackawanna. Manhattan is in the background.
