Description
Pin, photo portrait of John J. Grogan, Hoboken, no date, circa 1945-1957. 3-3/8" diameter. Museum does own original; digital image only.
Grogan, a Hoboken resident, served in City government from 1947-1965, but he was also an officer at several levels over the years for a union, International Union of Marine and Shipbuilding Workers of America (IUM-SWA). Some of those positions required elections and it has not been determined if this button was for a Hoboken election or union contest.
