Preliminary research by Dr. Christina Ziegler-McPherson, 2014:
I didn't find an immigration record for "Louris" entering in 1902 but a Demetrios Loures, born 1878, lived in the Lowell, MA area for many years. City directories for Lowell in the 1930s also list a Demetrios Louris who owned a restaurant.
There is a reference to a passenger list from 1905 (that I can't view) that says a Demetrios Louris, born around 1879, arrived in Boston in 1905. Could be the same person (Greeks traveled back and forth a lot).

The only entry I found for a Demetrios Lowis was from the 1930 Census with an obviously confused enumerator listing an 11 year old boy as a boarder living in Providence, Rhode Island. Clearly, not our 1902 traveler!
