K&E 1318MS Speedraft Template. Made by Keuffel & Esser Co., Hoboken, no date, circa 1949-1962. Transparent triangular plastic (yellow cast), 9-1/2" high x9-1/2" wide. Triangular two-piece paper covered box with printed paper label on lid.
Drafting tool for drawing to SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) and American Standards, hexagon cap screws, bolts, socket filister head screws, nuts, set screws in popular sizes. Long edge is cut out for 15 degree angles.
First appears in 41st edition catalog of 1949 and continues to 1962, when stock number is changed.
