Scope and Content
Envelope from Geismar's, 222-224 Washington St., Hoboken, to Mrs. [Helen?] Kostelecky, 220 Bloomfield St., Hoboken. Postmarked, no cancellation date, probably 1942-1945. Original contents not present.
Envelope was used by a Kostelecky family member for holding spare World War II ration coupons. That fact and the 1.5 cent Martha Washington postage stamp would suggest the date range.
Geismar's was a men's clothing store.
