Envelope, pay, imprinted Haven Savings and Loan Association, 621 Washington St., Hoboken, no date, ca. 1975-1990. Manila paper, 5-1/2" high x 3-1/8" inches wide, printed one side. Gummed flap on short end. Three copies.
Belonged to the Avegno family, long-time residents of 907 Castle Point Terrace, Hoboken, who did a great deal of their personal banking here. Typically used by employers who cashed their employees' paychecks. Note that the box for Social Security taxes is labeled "Federal Old Age."
