Fur Designing Note Book belonging to Seymour Teller, F.C. Wiegle Institute, no date, ca. 1938-39. Spring back binder with 8/12" x 11" leaves: title page, 2-pages table of contents, 37 numbered leaves followed by 13 unnumbered leaves. All hand-drawn, hand-cut patterns with numerous attachments and enclosures. Enclosed is a Students Receipt Book from American-Mitchell Designing Schools, 145 West 28th St., N.Y. for Seymour Teller, 718 Washington St., Hoboken. It shows the price of a course as $200, paid-in-full with two payments made in February 1938 including a ten-percent discount. Catalogued as archives catalog 2001.242.0001.01. Whether the Weigle Institute was associated with this school is not indicated. Teller operated Seymour Furs, 602 Washington St., Hoboken, until his death, ca. 1996.
