EMERGENCY BAG
Being prepared is the key for any emergency. Keep a small bag in a dry and safe place for each of your family members. Make sure it's a place easily reachable, not obstructed by any large objects, so it'll be easier to grab 'n go. Re-check your bag every few months so that batteries haven't drained, or water hasn't leaked from your water bottles. And make sure you re-adjust your kit for each season.
