Ice cleaving tool (breaking tool) used to break large blocks of ice into smaller ones for Italian ices prepared and sold under the Yum Yum brand, Hoboken, no date, circa 1950-1960. Iron with painted finish, 35-1/2" high. Forked blade: 5 tines, 5-1/2" wide. No manufacturer mark.
Item would have been used in family business operated by Nicola and Lucia Principe at various addresses in Hoboken. Donor was once an employee.
