Ice tongs for moving large blocks of ice used for preparation of Italian ices sold under the Yum Yum brand, Hoboken, no date, circa 1950-1960. Iron with painted finish, closed: 24" high x 13" wide; 24" wide at maximum; chain connected at handles which are oval and 5" wide. One tooth is broken. No manufacturer's mark.
Item would have been used in family business operated by Nicola and Lucia Principe at various addresses in Hoboken. Donor was once an employee.
