Identification tag: 2nd Cabin Stateroom Baggage, Hamburg American Line, Hoboken, no date, circa 1890-1914. Printed card stock, 3-1/8" high x 5-1/2" wide; rounded corners; grommeted hole with string tie. Unused.
Side one identifies the line and has printed: Piers Hoboken, N.J. Foot of First Street Adjoining New York Ferries.
The other side for second cabin (class) luggage has blank lines to be filled in: name of passenger, steamer, sailing date, room no., berth no.
