Image: color photo of foundation construction for One Marine View Towers, Hoboken, no date, ca. August 1973. The photographer was Donald "Red" Barrett. Original 3.5" square. The Museum does not own the original. A digital scan and color reference print are on file.
The view is looking northeast towards Fourth St.; the trees are in Stevens Park. The Stevens Administrative Building on Castle Point is in the far background. To the right is the hydrostatic testing tower at the river edge. Just beyond the water tower is a former pier shed of the Holland America Line. The Port Authority Piers along River St. are to the right of it. The shed, tower and piers are demolished.
