Invitation to the Thirteenth Annual Metzelsuppe on Tuesday, November 19, 1895 by Charles F. Kaegebehn, 802 (+ 804) Washington St., Hoboken. Single folio, 4-1/2" wide x 7" high, card stock printed in purple ink. Metzelsuppe is a type of German boiled sausage, but in the context here it is for an ethnic dinner event probably featuring wild game and special prepared meats. Pages [1] and [4] with text in English represent the invitation. Pages [2] and [3] with text in German (untranslated) appear to be calendar(s) for reference use.
