Jacket: American Legion Post No. 107, Hoboken, belonging to Vinnie Wassman of Hoboken; Commander, 1955-1956. Blue wool coat with gold trim; American Legion buttons and patches. With: original black leather sword belt. (Pants and cap from the uniform are not present.)
Two maker's labels are present. Embroidered label of Durable Outfitters, New York below opening of inside right breast pocket. Inside that pocket is a printed label of the company ("752 Broadway, N.Y.) with holographic ink recording Wassman's name and the order information plus a small union tag attached beneath it.
