Fifty-two illustrations including frontis. Includes portraits, reproductions of engravings, documents, etc. See 2005.017.0002 for the same title issued under the imprint of The American Society of Mechanical Engineers in 1928. That copy is the same all respects except the binding is blue cloth and the spine typeface lettering differs and has the addition of a ship ornament. That copy has the table of contents and index imaged. 8vo boards
