To the Common Council of the City of Hoboken:
Messrs;
The Annual Examination of the Public School in this City will commence in the Female [underlined] Department on Thursday the 27th inst. at 10 o'clock A.M. and close at 1 o'clock P.M. and the the Primary Dept. [both underlined] at 9 o'clock A.M. on Friday following; and in the Male [underlined] Dept. at 10 o'clock A.M. the same day + will close at 1 1/2 o'clock P.M. You are respectfully invited to attend.
