Decorative letterhead, printed two sides, 8-7/16" x 11" high; imprinted with typewritten text.
A Velvet brand pencil is depicted in color across the top of the stationery. It bears the company name as "American Pencil Co. New York" which is typical of the era. Other printing including the imprinted sales text is in a dark blue.
Promotional text includes date code at lower left: MK-T 8-1-28.
Back, "Leading Products of American Lead Pencil Co.", has, all printed in a light gray ink, depictions and text about various lines of pencils or related products (erasers). Featured is No. 3830 - Venus Pencil with Oversize Rubber. "Copyrighted, American Lead Pencil Co., N.Y. 1927."
