Typed letter signed, 8" wide x 10-5/8" high, with City Clerk's ink file notes on reverse. Signed by trustees William J. O'Toole, Lloyd H. Nettleton and Secretary Thomas F. Hatfield [who was the Librarian.] Note: the Mayor Adolph Lankering was listed as President of the Board of Trustees but as an ex-officio member. See archives 2007.012.0009 for a published letter from 1901 on this subject.
