Scope and Content

Lobby card (Sinatra film): Reveille With Beverly. Frank Sinatra. Ann Miller. (Original release 1943; probably later circa 1953.) Printed heavyweight paper (not cardstock), 11" x 14" wide. Photo image is printed in green with text at bottom red ink. Sinatra's name is featured at bottom left, but he does not appear in photo. Ann Miller is shown with members of several different military branches in a dance number. The layout and graphic style of this card is not consistent with those typically issued. It's plain style with the monochromatic photo reproduction suggests a later issue, even possibly in Great Britain. First film with a credited role for Sinatra. ---- advertising / sign / signage /
