Description
Locke's hand level, model 5701, manufactured by Keuffel & Esser Co., N.Y. No date, circa 1920-1950. Black painted metal and brass with glass bubble, 5" length x 7/8" diameter + height of bubble case; 5-5/8" long with draw to eyepiece extended. With: leather belt pouch.
Model is marked only "Keuffel & Esser Co., N.Y." on tube behind bubble. Product number does not appear on item.
K & E main offices and factories were in Hoboken during this period.
