Description
Needle threader imprinted Harry Silon & Co., 312 First St., Hoboken, N.J. No date, circa 1950-1963. Stamped metal, ovoid 15/16" x 1-15/16"; painted white on front with red imprinting for business; painted cream with instructions imprinted in blue on back; rectangular spring wire loop with ends crimped in stamped slots.
While this may have been for sale, it is more likely a give-away premium for customers; promotional advertising novelty for this wallpaper, paint and hardware supply store. Note that the telephone numbers are the SWarthmore exchange which means it is probably not later thatn 1963.
