Package: Cocomalt 3 oz. sample size can with two promotional leaves; original mailing box. R.B. Davis Co., Hoboken, N.J. No date, ca. 1930-1940. Two piece cardboard mailing box 2-5/16" high x 2-13/16" square; printed wrap-around paper label with typewritten address; Hoboken pre-cancel 6 cent postage stamp on top (a light orange Garfield sheet stamp, not coil) Contents: lithographed metal can 2-3/8" diameter. Two folded printed paper leaves wrapped around can: Enclosure 1: printed letter on R.B. Davis stationery with promotional text. Enclosure 2: two side color printed promotional leaf about Cocomalt. (n.b. - these two paper items are under this record number in archives.)
