Painting by unknown artist of the Hudson Street facade of the Maxwell House Coffee plant soluble products building at 11th and Hudson Streets, Hoboken, no date, circa 1975-1995. Acyrlic paint on canvas, 20" high x 24" wide. Anonymous work: unsigned; no markings on frame or reverse of canvas.
The view is northeast from Eleventh Street of the vine covered buildings. The artist's has placed the smokestack in the view, but it would not have been seen in this vista (further east and south.) At the left is the Laboratory Building (which was earlier also the executive offices.) Former factory including these buildings demolished 2004.
