Paperweight: NHSA 1988. (The North Hudson Sewerage Authority). Issued Hoboken, Oct. 17, 2011. Gray cast metal, 3-5/8" diameter x 3/16" thick; bottom rubber pad.
A sewer manhole cover. While issued as a ceremonial keepsake at the opening reception for the H1 Hoboken Wet Weather Pump Station, 99 Observer Highway, Hoboken, Oct. 17, 2011, it is likely this was a stock item on hand at the Sewerage Authority and not created for the event. Date of 1988 is the year the agency was established.
