Description
Paragon drafting machine, 1370-30, made by Keuffel & Esser Company, (Hoboken), no date, circa 1955-1965. Metal and plastic. Variable dimensions as used; folded closed without scales attached, circa 36" x 9" x 6". Serial number: 154048. No scales (as issued.) With: pencil tray (model 1382) as issued. Lacking: instruction booklet.
No model number appears on the item other than K&E Paragon. The upper arm is 30 inches. Manufacturer's plate is screwed on the anchor (clamp). This plate has six patents numbers, the latest being issued July 1953.
K&E main offices and factory were in Hoboken during the period when this was manufactured.
