General Notes

Note

Notes: Note the differences between this pass and pass 1 in archives 2013.005.0198 where there is additional printed text above "Date Issued" about countersignatures. The blank pass here lacks that text as well as lacking the facsimile signature (which would have been G.W. Maxwell) of the President and Chief Executive Officer at the lower right. Transportation passes for employees, current and retired, and their families were traditional and, although not stated, probably an entitlement as part of union agreements / contracts with the railroad. Erie Lackawanna Railroad was renamed Railway in 1968. ==== transportation / ticket / pass Status: OK Status By: dw Status Date: 2013-08-06
