Personal care kit issued as a holiday gift to customers by Kramer's, Jewelers, 500 Washington St., Hoboken, N.J. No date, circa 1950-1960. Vinyl folder, 1-1/2" high x 5-1/4" wide opening to 3-1/8" high; faux blue leather exterior with deep blue smooth vinyl interior; interior with stamped text as below. Inside holds a "Triple Cut" metal nail file in sleeve; bottom pocket holds a handled silver plastic hair comb. Stamped text: Season's Greetings KRAMER'S Jewelers Famous for Quality since 1904 500 Washington St., Hoboken, N.J. ---- The style of comb is more typical for that used for play by a child (such as with a doll.) It is possible, if not probable, that the comb present here is not original to the kit. A typical pocket comb would fit in the space provided.
