Description
Plumb bob, 6481-14, made by Keuffel & Esser Company, (Hoboken, N.J.), no date, circa 1950-1960. Machined brass with screw cap and replaceable hardened steel point; fourteen ounces; 4-3/4" long x 1-1/2" diameter. With: leather belt holder; string cord plumb line.
Plumb box is marked "K&E CO" and the model number: the holder is unmarked. The "14" in the product number indicates weight; this style went up to 24 ounces.
K&E main offices and factory were in Hoboken during the period when this was manufactured.
