Postal cachet: Hoboken Centennial 1855-1955. Office of the Superintendent of Schools, 524 Park Avenue, Hoboken, New Jersey. Cream envelope printed in purple ink, 3-5/8" x 6-1/2" wide. Unused; unsealed. The centennial logo appears on the stamp with the added imprint of the Superintendent. The logo was done by Demarest High School student Eugene Romo, whose design won a contest "sponsored by Kiwanis Club of Hoboken, N.J." (which is beneath the logo.)
