Postcard: Deutsches Seemannhaus, 64 Hudson St., Hoboken, N.J. Postmarked Hoboken, Feb. 29, 1908. Private mailing card, 3-7/8" high x 5-7/16" wide.
No publisher indicated, but it is presumed that the German Seamen's Institute or House (as it was called by non-Germans) issued the card. Text is in German and untranslated.
Although a private mailing card which were generally in use from 1898-1901, they were obviously still in use as late as the postmark here. Note the two-cent postage used as the card was sent to Germany.
