Postcard: Hoboken Historical Museum Presents the Exhibit: Kids Map Hoboken: Kids-Eye View of Hoboken. October 1-November 12, 2006, Upper Gallery. Six copies.
Map was published in September. The exhibition about the map featured large prints of the map plus the children's work papers and selected original artworks. (see archives 2006.004.0004 for the map.)
A year long effort of Hoboken children participating in education activities at the Museum under Carol Losos, Robert Foster and Sherrard Bostwick. Map is keyed to 140 listings in several categories: my museum, good eats, pizza, sweets & treats, ice cream, coffee, parks & nature, sports, after school fun, movies and music, books, fun to see & do, big kids stuff, essentials, pets, getting around, city services. Major sponsors underwriting the production were PSE&G, ShopRite of Hoboken (Inserra Supermarkets) and Ben & Jerry's.Acquisition
