View is looking southeast at the hotel, which as the sign states is "Meyer's", at 231 Hudson Street (southeast corner of Hudson and Third Streets) with all other buildings removed from image.
Printed text on back: This famous old hostelry, established over fifty years ago, the favorite stopping place of nobility, statesmen and stage celebrities before their embarkation upon European voyages, still retains its quaint atmosphere and continues to offer delightful well-cooked menus.
