Print: leaf from Harper's Bazar, Saturday, May 18, 1882. Vol. XV, No. 19, being the cover [page 289] and page 290. Wood-engraved illustration of woman on cover, "Ficelle Bonnet." Description on page 290. top left column. 11" wide x 16" high.
Woman's hat has fancy bird feathers as decoration. Leaf displayed in 2004 HHM exhibition, "City Animals," to illustrate the use of bird feathers as a commodity for fashion use and the endangerment to avian species.
