Printed black-and-white photo of an aerial view of the Maxwell House Coffee plant at Eleventh St. and Hudson River, Hoboken, published 1946. Image as found on page [11] in booklet from 1946 commemorating the 1846 game at Elysian Fields, Hoboken, archives catalog 2003.019.0133.
The view is looking northwest. To the right is the Bethlehem Steel Shipyard.
Photographer is not stated, but it was Fairchild Aerial Surveys, Inc.; cf. 2010.007.0453 for an original print, attributed to 1939, of the full image which includes Maxwell House as well as a portion of the Lipton Tea Sign. The number of cars and their locations as well as the coffee barges are key elements to compare with the original.
