From the right edge of the image is 1 Newark Street, the Hoboken Land & Improvement Company building, then the United States Post Office and the low building beyond it are the offices of John Steneck & Sons.
At the left edge is Hoboken House, 84 River St., at the corner of Newark and River Streets.
