As found printed on page [6]: Hoboken New Jersey 1855-1955, Souvenir booklet from Hoboken Centennial. cf. archive catalog 2001.022.0005. The view is looking northwest with Fifth Street at the left. The caption noted the wooden picket fence and gas street lamps. This building is now called Edwin A . Stevens Hall.
Not credited, but original image is probably from the Historical Picture Collections of the Hoboken Public Library.
