K & E. A Selection of Drawing Papers, Tracing Papers, Tracing Cloths. Keuffel & Esser Co. Issued by Keuffel & Esser Co., [Hoboken], no date, circa 1935-1940 (see notes). Booklet: oblong metal comb binding, stiff covers, 4-7/8" high x 8-3/8" wide. Unpaginated, 33 sample papers and cloths, each imprinted with description, stock numbers and other details followed by a blank leave and three printed pages of promotion for other paper products and services. Laid-in: Keuffel & Esser printed stock label with die-cut diamond shaped window.
The label laid in is imprinted at bottom: "To insure getting the same paper, cut this piece and send it with your order to your dealer." The label is the type found on roll coverings. This particular label is for a product with an obsolete number and thus not used for dating this book.
A publication code on back cover: 10 277. This number appears on most of the samples, some have: 10 150.

Notes: Circa 1935-36, paper stock numbers were changed and in the 38th edition catalog of 1936, the re-numbering was apparently complete. The imprinting on samples has the new numbers and refers to "old number x" on several of them.
