Sepia-tone group photo of Hoboken P.B.A. testimonial dinner for retirees, 1939.

Entry/Object ID

Description

Sepia-tone panoramic group photo: Testimonial Dinner in honor of the Retired Members of Local Number 2 of Hoboken Patrolmen's Benevolent Association, April 24, 1939. No place, probably Union City. Photograph by Fennar Fotos, West New York, as seen in lower right corner. Captioned in image at top right. Reverse is blank. People have not been individually identified except in a detail from the upper right: Mayor Bernard McFeely is the fourth man from the left of the men seated under the bunting. The use of the West New York photographer suggests that this was not a Hoboken location.
