Description
Sepia-tone photo (postcard?) of First St., Hoboken, looking west in the 1880's, Hoboken, ca. 1880-89. 3-7/16" high x 5-7/16" wide mounted on cardboard. Reverse is blank. Caption is in image. Note the signage at the right for a German merchant, H. Fischer & Son.
The size is consistent with a postcard view, but since it is mounted, the back cannot be seen to verify that.
