Description

Sepia-tone photo of a woman posed in studio, Hoboken, no date, circa 1918-1924. Real photo postcard; 3-3/8" wide x 5-7/16" high; Artura stamp block. Photographer not indicated, but can be attributed to: Norman B. Reznicow, Photo Studio, 453 First St., Hoboken, N.J. Unused and unposted. She is not identified. Although the back does not carry a Reznicow inkstamp, the chair and the background are those in his studio. ==== Except for Jim Hans locating photographer Reznicow in a 1918 City Directory, little has come to light about him. While the date range by photo postcard paper type gives a date range up to 1930, a more likely range is 1918 to 1924. ---- rppc
