View is west and elevated. No. 112 is decorated with patriotic bunting from ground to the fourth floor windows. At 114, there is some swagged bunting and small American flags at windows and at 110 there are flags at the upper windows. It suggests a holiday such as Memorial Day or Fourth of July.
At No. 112, the business name is A. Moos as seen in fancy metal lettering runing between the two turned wood standards; type of business can not be seen; a street clock is in front of the building. (There was an August Moos who was the proprietor of the Central Hotel at 200 River Street in this period.)
At No. 110 is a cafe (bar - saloon); signs for beer (F& M Schaefer) with wines & liquors promoted on the window.
At No. 114 is Fred. Helmke Mineral [Waters] on the ground floor; The Empire, Billiard [Parlor or Hall] is on the second floor (The Empire Theatre was nearby at no. 118)
