Sepia-tone photo of the North German Lloyd Steamship Co. docks, Hoboken, August 19, 1907.
2-1/4" high x 5-5/16" wide print. Photographer indicated as: FuH. Captioned and dated in ink on the image plus the photographer's name; ink date and number '131' in same hand and format on the reverse.
View is northwest of the piers rebuilt after the 1900 fire as seen from the Hudson River. The vista extends from about Second to Fifth Streets with the Holland America Line Fifth Street Pier seen. Passenger ships are not identified. Signage on the pier sheds is seen.
