Description
Black-and-white photo of the baseball player, H. Hess, from the U.S.S. Siboney, no place, no date, circa 1919-1920. 2-3/4" wide x 4-1/2" high. Photographer not known. Contemporary holographic ink inscription on lower margin: H. Hess, R[ight]. Field. Reverse is blank; shows evidence of former album mount.
Hess is wearing a U.S.S. Siboney uniform. He is apparently at a playing field as can be seen by the bleachers in the background.
