Doctor's note for Ernest Brod, aka Erwin Fuchs, authorizing 25 days of convalescence, associated with his hospital discharge after he was wounded on May 8, 1943 (see ObjectID 502.68.2025). There is a smudged circular purple stamp in the lower left quadrant and the doctor's orders are handwritten in ink. Fuchs spent this time with the family of his best friend, Diamant Laci and his wife Bözsi, who maintained a hairdressing salon on Algiers.
