Large brown paper envelope addressed to Ludwig Ballin, M.D., in Millbury, MA from Cox & Stevens, Inc. in New York. Postmark appears to be May, 1942. There are three U.S. postage stamps in the upper right corner but a fourth has been torn off. One is red, one orange, and one purple. The envelope has a brass fastener on the back but has been slit open across the top. A portion of the flap is missing and the envelope was also slit down the long edge. Contents of the envelope unknown so unclear why it was saved.
