Typed letter on Cox & Stevens, Inc. letterhead dated March 17, 1939 to Ludwig Ballin in Munich from David Cox in New York (brother of Irving Cox). There is a b&w image of a diesel yacht in a rectangle at the top center of the page. To the left of that image are the words "LONDON DETROIT", to the right "PACIFIC COAST MIAMI". The letter is in reply to a letter sent on February 21 by Ludwig Ballin to Irving Cox who, unbeknownst to Ludwig Ballin, is now deceased. In his reply, David Cox offers to help Ludwig's son who is coming to New York, given the long close association that Martin Ballin had with David's brother, Irving.
