"Testimonial" from the silk factory in Sopron where Erwin Fuchs worked as a Jacquard designer. The letter was issued when Erwin left the company for the Foreign Legion in 1939. There is a red postage stamp in the upper left quadrant of the letter, partially covering the letterhead, which is written in script. There are two holes punched along the left edge of the letter and five holes punched along the right edge so that it can be placed in a 2- or 3-ring binder. The letter was folded in eighths at one time.
