Page1 of 2 of a handwritten letter in German, written in black ink on onionskin, to "Lulu" from a man Ludwig Ballin had treated in Dachau. The man needed proof that his health had been damaged in the camp in order to get restitution. The letter is dated 5 February but no year is given; year on postmark on associated envelope is not legible (see ObjectID 538.40.3.2023). There is a small purple rectangular stamp in the middle of the left margin of the letter inside of which is written"531"; significance unknown.
